Wildlife & Ranch Management
Predators are part of the ecosystem, but unmanaged, they’ll throw everything out of whack. Just look at the historical data at Yellowstone National Park with the elk and wolf population. A perfect example of balance equaling a thriving ecosystem and how an unbalance of predator and prey can lead an ecosystem towards destruction.
At The Bretting Texan Ranch, we take ethical, targeted steps to maintain balance. That includes:
- Coyotes
- Bobcats
- Feral hogs
We don’t wipe them out—we manage populations. Our goal is to protect newborn fawns, limit disease spread, and reduce pressure on native game. Every decision is made with long-term herd health in mind.
Predator control isn’t about domination—it’s about responsibility. And if you want thriving deer and exotics, it’s a duty you can’t ignore.
