* Non-hunting guests are $150 per day per guest.

*A wounded animal is charged the same as a kill. We will do our best to locate the animal; but unfortunately, there are no guarantees on wounded game.

*We require a 50% non-refundable deposit for all reservations. A minimum of a 30-day notice must be given for any reschedules and can only be rescheduled with-in our availability, one time. All balances must be paid in full 30 days prior to the hunt. We accept cash, wire transfer, and credit cards.

Yes, you read that correctly. Working closely with the Texas Parks and Wildlife, the Bretting Texan Ranch is under the Managed Lands Deer Program (MLDP), which is intended to foster and support sound management and stewardship of native wildlife and wildlife habitats on private lands in Texas. Under this program, our whitetail season is longer, allowing hunters to catch the last opportunity of the year to harvest a whitetail when many places cannot. Act fast! Dominating one side of the shed is a large walk-in cooler, providing ample space to store meat and keep it fresh immediately after processing. The cooler is equipped with adjustable shelving and hanging racks, ensuring that game can be organized and stored efficiently. Next to the cooler, an industrial ice maker ensures a steady supply of ice, crucial for preserving meat and keeping it cool during transport or additional processing. In the center of the shed, a robust gantry crane is installed, designed specifically for lifting and handling large game animals with ease. The crane's sturdy construction and smooth operation make the skinning process safer and more efficient, allowing hunters to hoist animals for cleaning and processing without strain. The shed is also equipped with ample lighting, including overhead and task-specific lights, ensuring that the workspace is well-illuminated at all times. Hooks, shelves, and workbenches are strategically placed around the shed, providing convenient storage and workspace for knives, tools, and other equipment. The entire setup is designed to streamline the skinning process, making it as efficient and straightforward as possible.

Not only do we offer top-of-the-line hospitality services, but we also take on complete trophy care.
