Hard Work equals Success
People see our lodge, our animals, the harvest photos—but what they don’t see is the work and effort behind the gates.
Running a ranch like The Bretting Texan isn’t a weekend job. It’s early mornings, late nights, and year-round commitment. We manage:
- Acres of diverse habitat
- Dozens of feeders, water stations, and food plots
- Herd health programs, protein nutrition cycles, and mineral schedules
- Predator management and rotational grazing
- Booking, guiding, processing, cooking, and client hospitality
We’re constantly upgrading infrastructure, tracking genetic lines, and keeping up with Texas Parks & Wildlife compliance. It’s part wildlife science, part business, and all heart.
You don’t just run a trophy ranch—you build it, sweat for it, and fight to protect it.
